A man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she's a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon, a mysterious organization called "The 39 Steps" is hot on the man's trail in a nationwide manhunt that climaxes in a death-defying finale!

Lexie is an emerging director based in the North West. She aims to create new and visually interesting ways to tell theatrical stories, and her directing style is to design a concept for a show that makes the audience as well as the actors part of the world created. She directs in a wide range of genres, from comedies to thrillers, dramas to classic texts. She is also co-director of Highly Suspect Theatre and Murder Mysteries, based in Cumbria.
